Angular Contact Ball Bearing

The angular contact ball bearings can be used to carry both radial and axial loads simultaneously and is subjected to high specd rotation. The capacity that the type of bearings carry axial loads is determined by the angular contact. The bigger the angular contact is, the higher the capacity to carry axial loads will be.

The angular contact ball bearings can be classified as single row angular contact ball bearings and double row angular contact ball bearings. The single row angular contact ball bearings can be divided into two types, namely, a separated one and a non-separated one. The inner rings and outer rings of non-separated type can't be mounted separately with the contacting angles being 15', 25' and 40' respectively. There are two kinds of counter bores which are with inner rings and outer rings respectively. The minimun limit of revolution of the counter bore in the inner rings is higher than that of the counter bore in the outer rings.

The double row angular contact ball bearings can carry the combined radial and axial loads and moment loads. They are mainly used to restrict the axial displacement of the components as shafts or housings in both directions.

The single row angular contact ball bearings will result in the additional axial force while carrying radial loads. Thus they are usually used in pairs. The bearings mounted in pairs can be in Three Kinds acc. To the combination of different endf aces of outer rings: Back-to-back arrangement, face-to-face arrangement, tandem arrangement. The type of bearings can carry the combined radial and axial loads with radial loads as main loads and can carry pure radial loads as well. Apart from the tandem arrangement, the other two kinds can carry the axial loads in any direction.

The four-point contact ball bearings is a separated bearing. The balls have four-point contacts with sleeve with contacting angle being 35'. The bearings can carry radial loads and axial loads in any direction or combined radial and axial loads with the function of singl row and double row angular contact ball bearings. Their load volumn is bigger and ultimate revolution is higher.
