AIR FILTER is composed of many small gaps and USES these small gaps to catch dust. The following are 4 effects of catching dust for your reference.

1.Inertial effect

Particle dust does inertial movement in the air stream. When it encounters the fibers with disorderly arrangement, the air stream changes direction, and the particles deviate from the direction due to the inertia and collide with the fibers and are bonded. The bigger the particle, the more likely it is to collide, and the better the effect.

2.Diffusion effect

The Brownian motion of small particle dust is irregular. The smaller the particle, the more violent the irregular movement, the more chances of installing obstacles, and the better the filtering effect will be. Particles less than 0.1 micron in the air mainly do Brownian motion. The smaller the particle, the better the filtering effect.

3.Cutting effect

Although the particulate dust is in constant motion, the fiber volume is large enough to bond to the dust. In this case, the larger the fiber, the better.

4.Effect of weight

The continuous movement of particulate dust in the airflow causes the particles to become heavier, and when the slow airflow changes direction, the particles bond by slamming heavily into the fibers. The larger the dust particles, the better the filtering effect will be.
