For around 1, 400 years of knife making history, as well as the improvement of our craftmenship, Yangjiang, a southwest coastal fishing city in Guangdong province, as the most reputable cradle and holy land of the fine art of Chinese knife making for centuries, has undoubtedly been named as the center of Chinese cutlery(knives and scissors), with more than one thousand knife or cutlery manufacturers located here, enjoying a domestic market share for 80% and overseas market share for 70%.
Dating back to 1984, a smithy named "Liang Knife Making Works" was founded by a father named Liang Bing-guang. Ever since then, he has dedicated himself to making the most popular Chinese Cleavers (which is also called "Chuuka Bouchou" aka "Chinese chef′s knives" in Japanese, or "civil and martial knives" aka "vegetable & chopping knives" (in Chinese) to our neighbors, townsmen and fellow countrymen for 20 years. With the relentless efforts in the knife, scissors, cutlery and kitchen tool industry of Yangjiang for 3 generations, our family business has developed from a small business to one of the key knife making factories in Yangjiang, China.
