At present, Chengdu Dongjun Laser Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to DJ-Laser) is the largest supplier in YAG crystal field and leading company in sapphire field in China.

As a national leading high-tech enterprise specialized in researching, developing and manufacturing laser crystals and other synthetic crystals, DJ-Laser is founded on Apr 18, 2001, with an investment of RMB60 million. Covering an area of 112 mu (around 18.5 acre) with overall floorage of 22, 225 m2. The current number of staff is about 200.

DJ-Laser has conducted a continued independent research and development in techniques of laser crystal growth and machining, and expansion of the optical crystal components, etc. All this it has formed a complete system well integrated comprehensive researching with application development, as well as a capability in independent research and development and technical innovation. Moreover, patents for invention and utility model patents have also been obtained regarding the research and development of laser crystal, sapphire crystal and other series of synthetic crystals.

We can supply various kinds of 2" and 4" sapphire crystal rods in different orientation and machining accuracy. 6" sapphire crystal rod has been put into trial manufacturing, while 8" sapphire crystal rod is under research and development. Furthermore, customizing is available too. By use of own production, cutting and machining capability, sapphire wafers in different orientations, thicknesses and machining accuracies are available in this company. At present, the products mainly are 2" and 4" sapphire wafers.
