LeadEx MPVP-TMC is a powerful hybrid optical system with pan-tilt pedestal which especially designed for border security, sea ports application or military ships.
The crucial elements of MPVP-TMC hybrid optical system includes:
Thermal Image System: 3~5μm 640*480 pixel Cooled sensor with 160-800mm dual FOV motorized thermal lens
Defog Telescope System: Special 1/1.8" Progressive Scan CMOS Megapixel day/night camera and 12.5~775mm or 20~1250mm lens with 2X extender
Optional with LRF (Laser Range Finder): up to 15km distance target measurement range
IR Laser Illuminator which is helpful for telescope at night up to 2.5km range target recognition
Pan/Tilt Pedestal and Housing
Built-in power supply module (PSM) and central processing module (CPM)
Others optional (CMS, Motion Finder Radar, Keyboard Controller System, Gyro and Video analytic, etc)
The Advantages of Thermal Camera System
The cooled thermal camera system of LeadEx MPVP-TMC- equipped with a cooled detector, it operates in the middle-wave infrared (MWIR) band (3-5μm). The cooled thermal detector coordinate with 800mm motorized thermal lens produces crisp thermal images of 640x512pixels on which a 2.3m x 2.3m size target like a small boat or car in 20km can be detected. Meanwhile, the thermal camera part could be remotely setting to be ON/OFF separately.
A cooled thermal imaging system gives you the advantage that you can see and detect potential threats much further away than with an un-cooled thermal image even when there is small temperature difference between target and its scene. But there is more. Objects which are at a close distance can be seen with much more details. You can see what people are carrying. There is no need any more to send someone out in the field to check things out since small details can clearly be seen on the thermal image.
Compare to a fixed thermal lens system, the motorized thermal lens offers the operators a wider and farther range of view. While potential threat or target has been detected, the operator can focus closer to the target, further recognize more details and react more quickly to security threat.
The Advantages of Defog Day Night Telescope System
The day/night Megapixel Telescope camera part works at visible light and near-infra-red frequency. It is with good fog penetration performance and is capable to see through thin smog or fog in daytime for long range surveillance applications. The built-in zoom lens is designed to match the high sensitive day/night camera and IR Laser illumination, and to minimize the difference between the focus panels on a visible radiation and that on a near-infrared radiation.
IR Laser Illuminator System 
The state-of-art design of pan/tilt system offers not only flexible pan and tilt rotation, but also delivers an accurate user controllable interface, which allows users to operate the system in "micro-step" way. The laser illuminator working at 808nm freq has totally 15W optical output, which offer super powerful light source for the camera in night applications, and catch a target at 2.5km away distance.
Laser Range Finder System
The Laser Range Finder system which works on the invisible wavelength light which is 1064nm is also an available option for LeadEx MPVP-TMC hybrid optical system. By the LRF, the long range distance target could be precisely and fast measured. This is especially helpful for the defense purpose or the navigation purpose which give your precise reference on the target distance.
Application
The body is ruggedized vandal resistance and water-tight designed, and could work in all-weather conditions. So, the system is a best combination of thermal imaging, Telescope day/night camera, Laser illuminators, Laser Range Finder and is capable to work with an excellent optical performance at both daytime and night. It has excellent performances at both daytime and night, even in a foggy and rainy days.
