1. Basic information

Jiangsu Agrochem Laboratory Co., Ltd. is the provincial engineering center approved of establishment in 1998 by the Council for Science and Technology. Located in Changzhou National hi-tech Development zone in Jiangsu province, it occupies a total area of 150 mu including 26, 000 square meters building area. The engineering center mainly takes charge of research, development, engineering conversation, production and management of green pesticide-agrochem, especially the development of hormone with self-support intellectual property.

Our company is provincial engineering technology research center, provincial High-tech enterprise, provincial technology innovation center of post-doctor in Changzhou high-tech development zone, Demonstration base of "three drugs" project in Jiangsu province, provincial lab, Changzhou innovative pioneer enterprise and was titled as high-efficient developing base for herbicide by Ministry of Science. We have got ISO14000 environmental protection quality system certification in 2001, ISO19001 environmental protection quality system certification in 2008, Bank Credit is AAA.

Up to now, our company has developped a sound progress as Research-Manufacture-Trade. We have built great cooperation relationships with Shanghai Organic Institute under Chinese Academy of Science, Shenyang Chemical Research Institute, Shanghai Normal University, and Suzhou University; Making R&D of new projects together. Our main blueprint of cooperation is: Set up a laboratory in Shanghai, provide funds and subject, attract researchers to carry out research activities and foster talents.

Our company has 270 million RMB Current Asset, 120 million RMB liabilities, sales amount in 2009 is 280 million RMB including 36 million U. S. Dollars in export, the profit is 22 million RMB, at the same time, the amount of variety of taxes is 12 million RMB.

In last three years, our company has about 30 patent applications and has been authorized 3 patents (including 2 abroad patents), there are 16 high-tech products approved.

Our current batch of talents are mainly composed of outstanding young science and technology backbones, we have 199 employees, 80 of them engage in R&D, taking 40% of total number. Among them, there are 6 professors and senior engineers, 2 doctors, 20 masters, 3 overseas returnees, 10 visiting professors (2 has worked more than 6 months in center), 2 persons share special allowance from State Department. The company has kept recruiting 4 doctor person-times, 30 master person-times and more than 120 university graduate person-times. The existing group managers all get master degrees or above in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering major.

2The status of the domestic industry

Our position in the industry is in top 20. The sales amount of our herbicides about sulfur, acyl, urea types long-term developed and produced with Dupont, Syngenta and Bayer together ranks NO. 1 in the world market, market share is more than 80%. We cooperate with the bisggest Pesticide Companies in Russia and develop and produce series of products, such as triazolopyrimidine sulfonamides herbicide, flumetsulam, diclosulam and florasulam. Now, flumetsulam, florasulam has finished product testing.

3 Strategic goals

In next five years, our annual development goal is 30% sustaining growth, annual export amount reaches 100 million U. S. Dollars and annual sales reaches 1 billion RMB, The status of the domestic industry should be improved to top 10.
