At the beginning of out journey at LaaYee, the initial sparks that inspired our adventure lightened out in the year of 2009. At that year, our founders, a group of veterans in traditional pump industry for more than 10 years, were involving in business travels to the countries in Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa. They found, that the household use and agricultural irrigation of water were very inconvenient, due to the lack of civil electric power resources in these areas with lagging economy and poor transportation conditions. Thanks to decades of experience in the development and manufacturing pump with traditional power, the idea to upgrade traditional pump and design solar deep-well pump utilizing a more cost-effective power resource prevelantly available in these countries to solve the water supply problem, started to take root and sprout. And then the LaaYee was born.
