MTU is one of the world-leading companies manufacturing heavy-duty diesel engine. Its products are widely applied to railway vehicles, off-road vehicles, marine vessels and power stations including non-stop standby power stations. The features of the gen-set are as follows: Small size, high power, low fuel consumption, and long life expectancy. Early in 1883, its predecessor produced the first high-speed automobile engine. In 1901, it designed and manufactured the world-famous Mercedes, and later it explored a number of limousines and engines.
