Modern Heavy Industries Co., Ltd, which located in Taicang Port Development Zone is a specialized fabricator and supplier for international standard steel structures used in offshore platforms, power plants, industrial plants, high-rise buildings, mining conveying equipments, and other mechanical equipments. With the advantage of the close distance to the port and the convenient transportation, MHI also has the ability to deliver items in large sizes.

With a total of 540 employees, including 48 technicians, 8 senior engineers and more than 350 workers, MHI has a professional team, including estimation, marketing and sales, quality assurance, safety, procurement, detailing and processing, project management, fabrication and assembly, painting and packing, etc. A scientific written management system with clear job responsibility instruction was established to achieve the goal that every employee could give full play to their potential. The total area of MHI is 180, 000 square meter and among them 50, 000 square meter is under-cover areas, including the factory building with an area of more than 30, 000 square meter, while others are open areas like storage yard, pre-assembly yard and packing yard. This factory is designed to AISC standard and will mainly focus on international standard projects. MHI can perform steel structure fabrication according to various standards, including AISC, BS/EN, JIS, AS standard, etc. Also we can source different types of materials like AS material, ASTM material, EN material, and GB material. The maximum capacity is expected to reach 40, 000 tons to 45, 000 tons per year.
