The important factors of filters include: precision of wavelength selection, shape and width of passband, transmittance, color matching and angle of incidence etc. Mloptic offers following filters :
- Hot Mirrors
These mirrors have some advantage over heat-absorbing glass filters, as they reflect rather than absorb heat. Heat may be removed from the system in a single reflection, or diverted to a location in the system where dissipation is more convenient. You may order either 0 or 45degree incidence.
- Cold Mirrors
Like the hot mirrors, the cold mirrors are interference reflectors. They allow flexibility in deciding where heat will be removed from an optical system. They reflect visible light and transmit infrared. Compared to an aluminum coating, they can reflect ore through visible spectrum. And they can be used to increase system efficiency. We offer you two kinds of cold mirrors, and they are 0 and 45degree incidence.
- Colored Glass
Absorption filters may be neutral or spectrally selective. While spectral characteristics are customarily shown for a 1 mm thickness, the filters themselves are usually made thicker to minimize transmission differences caused by small variations in thickness occurring in manufacture.
- Neutral-densityFilterSets
When it is necessary to control the intensity level of the light, these filters will attenuate a beam with very little effect on the spectral content. Two types are in common use: absorbing glass filters and reflective metallic coated filters. The metallic coated filters are more spectrally neutral where-as the absorbing glass filters may be combined additively.
