Baling Petrochemical co. Ltd. Affiliated to sinopec, it has 14 affiliated units, including olefin division (oil refinery), cyclohexanone division, synthetic fiber factory, synthetic rubber division, epoxy resin division, thermal power division, power division, water supply and treatment division, supply and marketing division, yunxi community, urban community and etc.

Baling is listed among the top 500 powers in China with advantages in the combination of oil, chemical, fiber and fertilizer products and in the integrity of products. With the largest catalytic unit of oil refinery in China, as the domestic largest producer of sbs, caprolactam, epoxy resin and commercial cyclohexanone, baling is an important energy and chemical production base in south-central China.

Epoxy resin division of baling petrochemical., co. Ltd is one of the domestically largest bases for researching, producing and selling epoxy resin. It is also the only large-scale chemical enterprise in the country, gathering the production of caustic soda, chlorine products and epoxy resin.

Epoxy resin division established in 1969, it has over 1, 400 staff, including 366 engineering technicians (18 have senior professional titles, 100 have medium professional titles). It owns fixed assets of over RMB 1.5 billion. It has 6 sets production equipment for epoxy resin, 1 for hardener, 2 for ion film caustic soda, 1 for septum caustic soda, 2 for epichlorohydrin and 1 for 3-allyl chloride.

Main products of the enterprise include cyd series epoxy resin, type e series epoxy resin, special epoxy resin and its supporting materials, 3-allyl chloride, epichlorohydrin, caustic soda, liquid chlorine and hydrochloric acid etc.

The enterprise owns complete quality control system, advanced control method and first-grade test equipment.

In October of 1998, it received ISO9002 quality control system certification. Six kinds of products have been awarded provincially excellent products. 4 kinds of products have been awarded products with famous brand in hunan province. In 1998 epoxy resin was awarded "reliable product" in quality.
