Qingdao Pengyang Biological Engineering Co., Ltd. Is located in Chunyu Industrial Park in Chengyang District, Qingdao, and it has a modern plant, advanced equipment, scientific management systems and strong R&D capabilities.
The Company has been engaged in the research and development, production and sales of high-tech marine products and new resources of food, and while strengthening constantly its own research and development, it has been actively absorbing and using social resources to elevate continuously product qualities in combination with research institutions and universities. In particular, it has cooperated with the First Institute of Oceanography, State Oceanic Administration, to develop seaweed selenium polysaccharide products, which have excellent qualities and reasonable prices, and the Company has become the largest enterprise to produce and sell such products. Based on its status in the Kappa-Selenocarrageenan industry, the company participated in the revision of GB14880, LED in applying for initiation of formulation of the national standards for Kappa-Selenocarrageenan successfully.
Currently, under the concerted efforts of experts, the conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) series products have entered the market in succession for testing. Strong technological advantages have fully guaranteed the quality of such products and advanced management concepts have ensured good after-sales service. In 2001, the Company was elected as a member of the Chinese Marine Institute of Biological Engineering Committee, and it was awarded the title of "Excellent Enterprise in Absorbing and Converting Achievements of New and High Science and Technology".
