The clamp is too tight and the tension of the wrapping is high, making the needle cloth wrapped on the drum prone to lodging to the left; The spring pressure on the fixture is insufficient, the wrapping tension is insufficient, and the needle cloth wrapped on the drum is prone to lodging to the right. Therefore, adjusting the tension of the package appropriately is the main measure to prevent the needle cloth from lodging in the package.2Barrier bar appearsThere are two main reasons for the appearance of barrier bars in the wrapping of metal needle clothing: first, excessive lateral pressure, that is, the weight of the hanging hammer is too large, resulting in high lateral pressure of the wrapping and the formation of barrier bars; The second issue is the insufficient tension during the wrapping process, which forms a barrier. Therefore, adjusting the weight of the heavy hammer and the tension of the wrapping roll is an important measure to prevent the barrier from being damaged.Uneven height of wrapped needle fabricThe unevenness of the needle cloth in the wrapping is caused by the unstable tension of the needle cloth wrapping. The size of the wrapping tension is determined by the clamping force of the tension device clamp plate. The groove shape of the clamping plate should be the same as the base shape of the wrapped needle cloth rack and slightly larger than its base size, and the upper opening should be a diagonal shape, which is the best.In addition, it is necessary to regularly clean the impurities accumulated inside the fixture and the groove of the clamping plate. The impurities such as oil sludge, iron filings, and mud in the fixture are the main reasons for the loose clamping of the fixture. The rust spots and unevenness on the drum iron tire are also the main reasons for uneven wrapping. So, before wrapping, it is necessary to remove rust and impurities from the drum, polish it smooth with sandcloth, and apply a layer of engine oil.4Brittle fracture occurs in the package rollBrittle breakage in the package can cause the needle cloth already wrapped on the drum to scatter. The main reasons are: firstly, poor welding of metal needle cloth joints; The second issue is that the welded joint is not polished smoothly and is pulled when passing through the fixture. So, the welding of needle cloth joints must be very careful. Generally, it is recommended to temper the joint once after welding, and then temper it again after polishing it smooth. It is recommended to anneal the smooth parts of the joint in a dark red color. In this way, the joint is relatively flexible and can withstand the tension of the wrapping. Excessive tempering can cause brittleness at the joint, and the joint can be easily pulled apart during wrapping.In addition, the shape of the fixture groove is also important. When wrapping different needle cloths and racks, it is best to use corresponding groove clamps. Otherwise, some needle cloths may have difficulty passing through the clamp groove and causing brittle fracture.Affects needle cloth wrappingQuality factors1Reducer and variable speed motorThe operation of the reducer and variable speed motor is not smooth, sometimes fast and sometimes slow, the variable speed motor and drum belt slip, the installation and adjustment of the vertical and horizontal bars of the winding machine are improper, the installation of the winding machine's pressure wheel or blade is uneven, and the winding machine stops midway, all of which can affect the quality of the winding. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the quality of the installation of the winding machine. During the winding process, lubricating oil should be added in a timely manner to the fixture and pressure wheel (pressure knife) to ensure the smooth passage of the needle cloth.2Placement of material traysThe placement of the needle fabric tray is also important. The material tray should face the drum. If the winding starts from the left, the material tray should also be placed on the left. The material tray should be placed steadily, otherwise it will jump and cause the winding machine to jump. Do not release the material too quickly as it may cause entanglement. The needle cloth between the material tray and the tensioner must be straight and not twisted, otherwise it will also affect the quality of the wrapping.The wrapping principle of needle cloth and rack is basically the same, but the tension required for rack wrapping is higher. The adjustment of the tension of different needle cloth rack wrapping should be determined according to the model. The hardness of needle clothing and racks has little effect on the wrapping of racks. Some people believe that smaller hardness is better for wrapping, but in fact, it is not the case. As long as the wrapping tension is adjusted appropriately, needle clothing with higher hardness is also better for wrapping.During the process of wrapping metal needle clothmatters needing attention01Installing the needle cloth wrapping machineAdjust the sliding rod so that it is parallel to the axis of each type of cylinder.Adjust the gap between the side pressure plate and the surface of the cylinder by 0.1 mm~0.2 mm.When making the above two adjustments, the tension frame should be pushed to check that the positions at both ends of each type of cylinder are consistent.02Unripe headGrind the starting end of the needle cloth into a uniform slope, with a head thickness of 0.15 mm~0.2 mm.Thread the needle cloth saw blade through each guide wheel on the tension frame, with the front end tightly attached to the inner side of the edge strip, and adjust the tension to a moderate feel.Confirm that the needle tip direction of the needle cloth is consistent with the winding direction of the needle cloth and the drawing.Slowly rotate the cylinder to cover the needle cloth with a width of about 10mm. At this time, you can tap a piece of cowhide at the beginning to prevent the needle cloth from loosening.03Wrapping operationWrapping speed: The wrapping speed should not be too fast as it can easily cause problems such as uneven wrapping and poor flatness of the needle cloth. The normal wrapping speed should be strictly controlled at v ≤ 80 m/min.Wrapping tension: In order to prevent deformation of the central part of the cylinder during wrapping of needle fabric, the tension should be adjusted to 7 kg~8 kg within a range of 80 mm wide from each end of the cylinder. The tension adjustment should gradually increase or decrease, and smoothly transition.Welding of needle cloth saw blade: After the needle cloth saw blade is disconnected, it needs to be welded, tempered, and filed with a metal needle cloth welder.Each part of the tension frame of the wrapping device and each pulley should rotate flexibly, and lubricating oil should be added regularly and kept clean.The side pressure plate in the package should not be loose, skewed, or have friction with the surface of the drum or excessive spacing. The edge of the side pressure plate blade and the surface of the cylinder should be kept clean to prevent dirt from getting caught in the needle cloth saw blade, causing protrusions or gaps in the needle cloth.During the process of wrapping, it is necessary to frequently move the needle cloth unwinding disc holder to keep the unwinding disc in line with the guide wheel and side pressure plate, in order to prevent the saw blade from touching the edge of the clamping disc. Timely clean the needle cloth pad paper to prevent the partition paper from entering, and keep the work site clean.During the wrapping process, it is important to regularly pay attention to the lowering of the side pressure plate lifting device. The lifting device should generally not exceed 100mm above the ground to prevent excessive scratching of the needle cloth surface when the side pressure plate jumps out. When landing, it is necessary to prevent the suspension from falling on the ground and losing pressure.It is important to regularly observe the working condition of the wrapping machine and the surface of the needle cloth. If any abnormalities or defects such as inverted needles or loose arrangement are found on the surface of the needle cloth, the wrapping should be stopped and adjusted in a timely manner.When parking to handle faults (or other needs), a cowhide lap block should be knocked on the surface of the needle cloth, and the side pressure plate hammer should be lowered to ensure safety. The cowhide lap block should be knocked towards the tooth tip of the saw blade to make the cowhide lap tight. Otherwise, not only will the cowhide lap block not be tight, but it will also dent the surface of the needle cloth.During the process of wrapping needle cloth, attention should be paid to observing the needle cloth tray. If any unevenness or abnormal situation is found, the wrapping should be stopped immediately for handling.Closing: When the needle cloth is wrapped to the end and the side pressure plate is about to approach the edge, the winding speed should be slow. Stop the machine when the side pressure plate contacts the edge, remove the side pressure plate, and slowly wrap it until the saw blade contacts the edge. Then use a flat chisel to lightly tap the needle cloth saw blade and squeeze it into the gap with the edge strip, ensuring that the needle cloth is tightly pressed against the edge strip.After wrapping various needle fabrics, grinding is not allowed. If there are locally high needles, they can be treated by hand polishing with an oilstone.The starting and ending ends of the needle cloth are soldered with copper (note that when the saw blade width is ≤ 1.35 mm, tin welding is used), welded to the edge and cylinder, with a weld bead length of 20 mm~60 mm. During tin welding, the outer surface of the saw blade should be cleaned of oxide skin, dirt, etc., and a small amount of solder paste should be applied to avoid embroidery.At the beginning and end, it should be welded firmly, and the size of the cylinder should be ignored in the middle. Several more points should be welded on the edge and cylinder, and the welding points should not be higher than the needle tip. The weld bead should be polished smooth.
