Shaohuashan Botanical Refinery Co., Ltd., located in the eastern part of Xi′an city, at the foot of Huashan Mountain, was established in 1998. With Longhai railway to its south, and Xilin expressway to its north, it enjoys a convenient transportation. Shaohuashan, as a private scientific and technological enterprise, is mainly engaged in R & D, manufacture and export of herbal extract; In addition, it is also one of the pioneer manufacturers in cultivating, R & D, and isolate of Milk Thistle.
In order to obtain more technical supports, Shaohuashan has a long-term close cooperation with Xi′an Botanical Garden, Northwest A &F University, Xi′an Jiaotong University, as well as some related research institutes.
Based on first rank high-tech manufacturing and testing facilities, thousands of GAP plantation areas as well as excellent extract techniques, Shaohuashan, as one of the biggest silymarin manufacturers, has an annual output of 30T with a value of RMB15, 000, 000.
