Primo Opto (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in 2001 with its head office in Taiwan as manufacturer of lighting electronics equipments. In 2003 the booming enterprise builded up its factory in Shanghai China Mainland, in 2008, Primo Opto Suzhou was established. Since the company has extensive solutions for the general lighting market, Primo is esteemed as a key lighting partner by Philips Lumileds Lighting (the world leading manufacturer of high-power LEDs) in Asia Pacific Region.

The company mission is set as "Green lights with heart" This means that Primo is endeavoring itself to provide environment-friendly products and services with their best knowledge and efforts. Product ranges are developed in-house to meet professional outdoor indoor and architectural lighting solutions, such as for high-rise building, commercial plaza, public landscape, shopping mall, park and bridge, museum and sports center, etc. Starting from 2004, Primo has references for more than 150 projects, mostly in China. This demonstrates the engineering competence as well as the project support capability while both integrates technology know-how, lighting design and project engineering skills to a comprehensive and practical model for the solid state lighting industry. 2002 -Jul. Starting to cooperate with Lumileds for the lighting product development of high brightness LED.
2003-Jun. Primo Opto factory was founded in Shanghai China -Oct. Market launch of high power LED lights product in HK lightfair 2004-Jan. Primo held New Product Introduction Conference in Shanghai to be the 1st high power LED lighting product manufacturer in China. Set up 4 branch offices in major Chinese Cities.
2004-May Attended NY and Frankfurt lighting fair to promote int'l market
2005-Jan. Had "Qualified Luminaires Manufacturer" certificate from Lumileds, and to be the 1st one in APR countries.
-Mar. Completed ISO9000 system with certificate.
-Sep. Joined HK light fairto promote LED product and ODM/OEM capability
-DEC. Accumulated over 100 lighting projects in China.
2006-Apr. Completed ISO14000 system with certificate. Had RoHS line and production.
-Sep. Have LED product manufacture qualification survey from international brands and implement OEM/ODM operation with major lighting companies.
-DEC. Announce LED high power lamp with MR16, GU10
2007-Nov Established Primo Opto Group Limited in Cayman
2008-May Primo Opto Suzhou in operation
