Tieling Special Valve Corporation is an independent joint-stock system enterprise, which is reformed from the original Tieling Valve Works in 1997.

After reforming, Tieling Special Valve Corporation carries forward the good quality from the sedimentary accretion of the original Tieling Valve Works over 80 years. TLSV has the tremendous techniques, processing and manufacturing. It has developed into a modern intensive business entity.

Entering the new century, TLSV invests much technology research and development. TLSV′s 3%-5% of annual sales revenue invests in technology innovation and new products. TLSV collaborates with many colleges and universities, such as Tsinghua University and Northeastern University. They have a thorough research and exploration in cutting-edge technology of high and low pressure valve field. They have developed 10 major series of domestic leading new products, surmounted 21 valve technique difficulties, and got more than 30 national patents, including 4 invention patents. Some products such as bellows type metal sealing butterfly valve, zero friction metal sealing butterfly valve, hydraulic butterfly valve of counterweight type, hydraulic butterfly valve of accumulator type, large size spherical valve for hydropower plant, double sealing butterfly valve, fully rubber lined butterfly valve, large deflection expansion joint, etc. Pass the provincial science and technology achievement appraisal, and they are named as the famous brand of Liaoning province and are listed in the national Torch Program. The collaborative research with Northeastern University, the four-meter-diameter ductile iron valve, becomes the biggest of China of large size ductile iron valve applied in water diversion industry.
