In order to continually improve international competitiveness, the Group has successively introduced world leading extra-high, ultra-high, and high voltage cross-linked cable, telecommunication cable for local calls, and optical fibre and cable production lines and test equipment from seven countries including South Korea, Japan, US, Switzerland, Finland, and Germany, etc., such as Germany TROESTER 220KV, 750KV cross-linked cable production line, Finland Nokia vertical and catenary cross-linked cable production line, Italy Cortinovis Machinery S. P. A. 4, 500mm drum twisting cable production line and 91-coil frame-type wire twisting machine, Germany Mannesmann Company 3, 000t vertical aluminum-pressing former with 128.9m high vertical cross-linked cable tower, and US Hubble 500KV series resonance test and lightning impulse test equipment which is best-of-class in Asia. In addition, the Group also establishes the cable research institute and Shandong Wires and Cables Test Center.
