With the popularization of FTTH, network maintenance requires increasing costs. For network maintenance personnel, the last-kilometer fiber is the most difficult to maintain, because they cannot go into users' houses to perform tests and preventive maintenance. To resolve the test problem of the last-kilometer fiber,  we develops the PON endpoint tester (FTTH ONT FINDER) KY2500. It enables maintenance personnel to test links without going into users' houses. Maintenance personnel only need to connect KY2500 to the rear-end of an optical fiber distribution box, and then they can learn about six link states, which help to understand link and ONT status.
